Pride Month at CASER LONDON: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Identity, Creativity and Design

At CASER LONDON, Pride Month is more than just a moment on the calendar. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of visibility, inclusivity, and self-expression—values that are woven into the very fabric of our brand. As a business proudly founded by a member of the LGBTQ+ community, we stand in full support of the global movement for equality, acceptance, and celebration of queer identity.

As June rolls in, streets fill with colour, stories are shared, and love takes centre stage. For us, this month is about honouring not only our founder’s journey but also the countless LGBTQ+ designers, artists, and creators who continue to shape the world of fashion, design, and innovation.

A Brand Built with Pride

CASER LONDON was born out of a passion for design and a deep connection to British culture—elegant, bold, and proudly individual. Our founder, Jun, built this brand with the belief that design is a language of identity. As a gay entrepreneur, Jun’s lived experience informs every aspect of CASER LONDON’s creative direction, from our minimalist yet expressive case designs to our mission to build a brand that is as inclusive as it is intentional.

In today’s world, representation matters. When customers engage with brands, they’re looking not only for high-quality products but also for stories they can relate to and values they can stand behind. CASER LONDON exists to tell those stories—stories of individuality, confidence, and unapologetic authenticity.

The LGBTQ+ Community’s Role in Shaping the Design World

The design world, particularly in fashion and creative industries, has long been influenced and enriched by the LGBTQ+ community. From iconic designers like Alexander McQueen and Gianni Versace to the countless emerging queer creators today, LGBTQ+ voices have continuously redefined what it means to be bold, experimental, and trendsetting.

According to a 2019 AIGA's census, the creative industries are significantly more diverse in terms of sexual orientation compared to many other sectors. In fact, an estimated 15% of people working in design identify as LGBTQ+. This diversity is a strength, and it shows in the richness, originality, and boundary-pushing nature of the work that emerges from this community.

These statistics not only reflect a thriving and creative force but also highlight the importance of safe, inclusive environments where designers and creatives can thrive without hiding any part of themselves.

Design as Expression

Every product we create at CASER LONDON tells a story—whether it’s inspired by the energy of London’s skyline or the elegance of everyday simplicity. During Pride Month, we’re especially reminded that design is more than aesthetics—it’s a way to express who we are, what we believe in, and what we’re proud of.

This month, we’re introducing a special edition of our signature brand cartoon featuring the colours of the Pride flag. It’s a simple gesture, but it reflects a much deeper truth: that identity and design are inseparable, and we celebrate all forms of love, expression, and creativity.

Standing with the LGBTQ+ Community—All Year Round

While Pride Month offers a special opportunity to celebrate, support for the LGBTQ+ community shouldn't be confined to just one month of the year. At CASER LONDON, we are committed to year-round advocacy. That means working with diverse creators, standing against discrimination, and making intentional choices in everything from how we design to who we partner with.

We also recognise that being a small, independent brand doesn’t limit our responsibility to uplift others. As we grow, we aim to continue building a brand that reflects the world we want to see—one that is diverse, compassionate, and inclusive.

Why Representation Matters in Branding

Brands today have the power to influence culture, shape conversations, and support progress. When businesses choose to remain silent, they risk becoming complicit in systems that marginalise already vulnerable communities. That’s why visibility matters—not just in advertising campaigns or colourful logos in June, but in the stories we tell, the people we hire, and the values we live by.

Representation at the leadership level—such as our founder being part of the LGBTQ+ community—is one of the most authentic ways to ensure those values are not just performative, but real and lived. It also means our customers can see themselves in our brand—not just as consumers, but as individuals who matter.

Looking Ahead

Pride Month is a time for celebration, but also reflection. At CASER LONDON, we’re taking this moment to honour the progress that has been made and acknowledge how far we still have to go. We’re grateful to be part of a community that thrives on creativity, courage, and connection.

Whether you're a designer, a creator, or simply someone who values beautiful products with purpose, we thank you for being part of our journey. As you carry your phone and your story with you every day, we hope our cases reflect not only your personal style but also your pride in who you are.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at CASER LONDON.
